From your list all of those movies where great scary movies. But the scariest one was The Exorcist. Damn that scared the living shit out of me. I remember when I saw it at the movie theater with my brother and two other friends. I had trouble sleeping for weeks after seeing that movie but my favorite scary movie is Hellraiser and its sequels.

But what about those original monster movies. The ones that came out when I grew up in the 60s. King Kong, Frankenstein, the werewolf, the mummy. Those are the original scary movies I remember when I was really young.

Actually the biggest scare I got was from CARRIE the original movie. The last scene where her arm comes up out of the grave scared the crap out of me because my date grabbed my arm at the exact same time. I jumped out of my chair and it folded up under me, trapping me between the rows of seats. BRRRRR~! Jimmy B.
