I ate at the Pizza place that starts with B on the west side here..
The food was soo good.. and I loved it..
The place was a little empty, because it was 2:30 pm.. and I was just getting around to eating my lunch..
Oh yum. yum yum...
But I was getting more and more bugged by the cheerful, happy, smiley, 4 foot nothing brown haired, pretty waitress that I had..
I am sure she popped by at least 20 times..Oh ya.. I had my son with me..
He does tend to attract women like there's no tomorrow..He always seemed to be able to answer.. while I always seemed to have way too much food in my mouth to answer...
And then.. after we paid for our meals, she just hung around and chatted for like 10 minutes...lol
Does perky happy waitresses doing their jobs irritate you??

I had quite the week last week.. I was exhausted.. as in ..
Not doing much.. at all.. or moving at all..
Just looking at the boxes of stuff around my house.
Today the back splash guy will be telling me when he plans to show up to do the tile work.. Gotta love when you have no idea what's going on..or when they will do it..
so.. Last week I rested.. and then on Sunday I finally had some energy to change my bedding on my bed..
The oscars were quite something eh.. Thinking you won and finding out...
Holy Crap.. I didn't win.. after all... Well that beats my crappy week...
The sun is out today.. I actually shovelled my sidewalk.. it was light fluffy snow.. but I was pretty tired when I was done..
How long does it take to get that "refreshed from sleeping feeling" back again...lol

My brain has turned to mush. I can't find anything I need...
Tired of washing my hands in the tub...
At lunch time today...my hero arrived..The plumber arrived and put in new sinks where needed and new faucets..
So now, I have been putting things away..and I can finally try to live normally again..woo hoo !!
I would have hugged the poor plumber guy..but I just met him and it didn't seem appropriate..lol
He did a truly excellent job.
Color me very grateful!!

Tip#1
Basic knowledge.. whether it's ordering from the drive through, or getting stuff done to your place... Don't ask for anything out of the ordinary.. or unusual, or that takes a bit longer to do.. Just don't...Unless you don't mind waiting a heck of a long time ..
Tip#2
Again basic knowledge, but somehow I though it would be different for me..
It always takes longer than they say it will.. Much.. Much.. Much longer..
Tip#3
Even if you think there is someone in control of the whole thing.. Make sure that each person doing the renovation is getting the info they need to do their part...
Don't be afraid to ask dumb questions..
Make sure the one in control knows about everything.. because even if they are the ones in control, doesn't mean they know all the details..
Tip#4
Take up crochet.. because walking back and forth, pacing, gets old fast..

For those of us celebrating alone... huzzah!!!.. no need to spend extra money...
I recently saw a set of pictures showing heart shapes in nature.
Some of them looked suspiciously man made.. but nevertheless, ...still heartshaped.
It mght be a bit lonely for some of us today..Know that you are not alone...
There's a bunch of us that won't be getting cards, chocolate, or special dates..
I don't rely on others to make my life special...Each of us is responsible for our own lives and our own happiness...

Woke up this morning... had a drink of water..
Then.. uh oh.. had to rush to the bathroom..
I knew my stomach had been bubbling around a bit all night.. I didn't sleep well.
I woke up feeling really unwell..
All day today I've been unwell.. but I think it's just a stomach bug..
Tomorrow is another big day in the renovation...
I waited all day Friday at the house, because they were supposed to show up..
But.. nope.. noone called.. noone showed up here..
So, we'll see what happens..
Geez I'm tired of washing my hands using the tub faucet..
Tonight I finally got a big container of water and dish soap.. and washed all my dirty dishes...Wasn't fun...
Renovations Suck...!!
